vegetarian vegan dairy_free gluten_free egg_free nut_free soy_free blender
  • 1/2 cup cold pressed extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 – 1 1/2 Tbsp raw apple cider vinegar to taste at the end
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • 1 clove freshly minced garlic
  • 1 tsp dried mixed herbs
  • pinch of Celtic sea salt or Himalayan salt
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste
  1. Put everything in your blender (I use a Vitamix), except the vinegar, seasoning, and herbs, and pulse until well combined.
  2. Add the vinegar and seasoning to taste. Then stir in the herbs.

Makes about 3/4 cup, and will keep in a glass container in the fridge for a week.

Piggy Cooking Tips

the best way to clean your blender

After blending up something sticky, gooey or smelly, just place a few drops of soap in the carriage with some warm water and blend on high until all of the congealed food slips away from the blades and sides. Then repeat this process. Then rinse with water and presto! Clean carriage.
If you have smells or stains repeat this process with some bicarbonate of soda or lemon juice and water.
