Going Green

Eco Friendly Living Tips
I love sharing as much information as I can about all things green, and this is exactly what this site has. They give you tips on green living, how to keep an environmentally friendly home and recycling, just to name a few. A wealth of very important information, tips and advice on how to live a greener life.

Gorgeously Green
Created by NY Times best selling author Sophie Uliano, Gorgeously Green is a fantastic website for tips and everything you need to know about living an eco green life. Books, Blogs, Videos and so much more are served up by the "Ultimate Green Girl" and green expert. Her books are well worth a read, I love her down to earth, fun approach of spreading the green message into the mainstream world. Sophie you are amazing!

Women of the Green Generation
This amazing organisation is an incredible force and is only growing stronger. It is where eco conscious women can create and share their ideas and passions for solving environmental concerns and problems. I went to my first Women of the Green Generation convention earlier this year and I had a blast! Meeting so many amazing and passionate" Green" professional women was truly inspiring. I discovered so many eco friendly businesses, services and products and it made me proud to be apart of it. I loved every minute and can't wait to go back next year!

The Green Directory
This Australian Directory can direct you to many different green and eco businesses, services and products all over the world. From clothing and fashion to tourism and travel this site will direct you to whatever green friendly information you may need.

GreenSpace
Created by The Green Directory, Green Space is an online community much like Facebook or Myspace where you can make friends and connect with fellow greenies.

Eco Fashion

White Apricot
This is one of my favourite sources for news and tips on eco friendly clothes, fair trade fashion, natural beauty, and green lifestyle tips. Founder Carrie Pollare is a fantastic lady who I met at Women Of The Green Generation. I was already a fan of the website and was thrilled to meet her in person. White Apricot has just launched a fantastic new venture called Green Grab Bag where you can "try before you buy" and have a goodie bag filled with minis of the best natural, organic and vegan skin and hair care, make up, and fragrance delivered to you for just $15 a month with free shipping! I'm in!

Stewart Brown
I met Karen Stewart recently, one of the designers for this exquisite eco clothing line based in Los Angeles. Karen and her partner in life and work, Howard Brown are both very talented and creative beings and it's I love that they have created these amazing eco friendly and ethically conscious clothes. What I love the most about Stewart Brown is that they donate a percentage of their profits to non-profit environmental and social welfare organisations. Clothing making a difference! I love it!

Recycled Bride
I was so thrilled recently to meet up with Tracy Dinunzio, the founder of this eco conscious free online marketplace for eco savvy brides and bridal parties. They recycle anything from designer wedding gowns to table decorations and wedding gifts. You can be a seller on this site, not just a buyer. Received one too many toasters and should have done that registry after all? Well this is the site for you! Head to Recycled Bride for selling or buying some great wedding must-haves and hidden treasures.

Mink Shoes
Is an amazing vegan shoe line based in California and created by passionate animal lover, Rebecca Mink. Using recycled, animal free and plant based materials these shoes are Italian-made and hand crafted under the strictest conditions in order to adhere to even Rebecca's own high standards. Each shoe is custom designed and made from materials like cork, linen or denim. Within her collection she has cleverly payed homage to the animals she loves by naming each shoe design after an animal. I love it!

Natural Green Eco Friendly Beauty Products

You will find a fantastic selection of my favourite natural and organic skincare creams and beauty products on my Natural Skin Care Products page.

Eco Green Blogs

Green LA Girl
Siel Ju is an institution in the green world in Los Angeles, and I had such a great time chatting with her at the Women of The Green Generation convention this year. She is an environmental writer and activist who gives amazing tips on her blog on how to sustain a green lifestyle living in LA. I love her blog, it's not to be missed!

Red, White and Green
This fabulous blog comes to you from Jennifer Grayson, a very passionate environmentalist and amazing green living expert in the U.S. It was great to meet her recently after months of tweeting back and forth. She is a very informative and entertaining writer for all things green. I love this blog and her contributions to the Huffington Post with Eco Ettiquette. Check out my link and info below for more.

Huff Post Green Eco Etiquette
As a regular reader of the Huffington Post, this would have to be my favourite section of the newspaper. I am sure they are grateful to have Jennifer on board keeping the world up to do date with her green living anecdotes, news and information. I certainly learn a lot and I am sure you can too!

Green Cleaning Products
I am a big fan of making my own cleaners from food stuffs. I use vinegar, tea-tree oil and bicarbonate of soda to clean my house. But when I need something else I head to these companies for their green products.

Seventh Generation
The leading international brand of green cleaners – laundry detergent, dishwashing soap, dishwasher powder, recycled toilet paper and towels. I really love the philosophy of this company and their products are widely available in health food store and mainstream grocery stores all over the world.

Mrs Meyers
Another great company for earth-friendly cleaners and laundry supplies. I love all of the essential oils they use.

Natures Organics
Natures Organics makes fantastic 100% Australian made and owned eco friendly products. They are best known for their amazing and very affordable (often cheaper than more popular brands) cleaning products.  Look out for the Earth Choice line, they are available in most mainstream grocery stores throughout Australia.

Green Works
Green Works is a great, affordable range of green cleaning products across the U.S. You will find them available in a lot of different grocery and retail stores across the nation.
