The Blender Girl Partners with Vitamix as The Face of their Recipe and Technique Videos
I am very proud to announce that I have partnered with Vitamix as the face of their new recipe and technique videos. Those of you who have been following me for a while know I couldn't live without my beloved Vitamix! So, when Vitamix approached me to present the videos for their new website I was thrilled.
As an actor, presenter, and voice over artist, I have worked with many companies on various projects throughout the years. But the Vitamix job was a dream come true for me. I had so much fun working with this fantastic company and the phenomenal crew from Space Junk Media.
When the Vitamix 750 professional series prototype landed on my doorstep in preparation for the shoot, I squealed like a giddy teenager. The UPS delivery man thought I was a little odd. LOL! I felt incredibly privileged knowing I was only the second person in the world to cook with this machine! Just me and Vitamix's WONDERFUL head chef, Bev Shaffer, who helped me enormously with this shoot.

I just LOVE this company. They invited me out to their international headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio, and I was BLOWN AWAY by Jodi Berg, her entire staff, and their incredible facility. I watched Vitamix machines being assembled by hand and met so many lovely, happy Vitamix employees. For me, it was like visiting Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory! I was like a kid in a candy store, and they welcomed me into the family with open arms and incredible generosity.
I didn't think I could love this company any more, but I do! The Vitamix production standards and company philosophy are truly inspiring; and their customer service is exceptional.

I am saving my pennies to get my very first vitamix. Very excited about it.
I have shared your site with my aunt and many others. My aunt was a “health food nut” back in the 60s when it was not terribly fashionable to be one. As a result she looks a lot less then her 75 yrs plus she isn’t on a bevy of pills etc like so many people of her age.

Congratulations and can I just say how INcredibly jealous I am? I saw the new Vitamix with the wider shorter jar last week and immediately emailed them to see if I could buy a jar for my 5200. Nope. Plus NO PLANS to develop one for it. Rats. I have to go play the lottery now so I can justify a multi Vitamix household.

Congratulations! I, of course, love love love my Vitamix. It is still fairly new to me and my question is how do I know what seeds and pits can/should get ground up and eaten. I now that avocado pits are good, cantaloupe seeds are good, peach pits are bad…. Is there a list?

Hi Andrea, we don’t currently have a list for this type of thing and recommend you follow recipes as directed in our Vitamix cookbooks and on our website. A general rule of thumb for skins that many of our customers follow is ‘if it’s thin throw it in.’ We hope that helps. Please give us a call if you have any other questions, 800-848-2649 (option 2). congrats to you on your accomplishment! I like your site and the sound of your recipes, but I haven’t made anything yet as I don’t have a high powered blender and didn’t think my little regular one was up for some of these recipes!
Can you recommend any of your recipes for me to start out with that my regular blender might be able to handle?

Thankyou SO much. Almost all of the recipes can be made with a regular blender. You just won’t get a silky smooth consistency like you do with the Vitamix. Lots of my readers have regular blenders and still enjoy the recipes. Try the mango coconut bliss smoothie, the chocolate spinach smoothie. They are delicious and I have made them with a regular old blender! I am not sure when the next Vitamix giveaway will be. Probably some time next year! Keep an eye out on the facebook page. I announce everything there, as well as my newsletter.
