Vegan Brown Rice Banana Smoothie
10I thought it was only fair that I post an example of a home made brown rice smoothie to get everyone on their way, and to stoke the fire of home made brown rice milk mania!
I made this brown rice smoothie today, and it was nothing short of spectacular. OK, so this vegan banana smoothie will be affectionately reserved for the “I don’t care about carb overload” trough for future emotional emergencies. But hey, I might just have to pull it out in times of celebration too! It is really that good. This brown rice smoothie is rich, thick, creamy, and delicious. If you are looking for fantastic vegan banana smoothie recipes this is a winner.
This simple healthy recipe is vegan, gluten free, dairy free, egg free, nut free and soy free. If you are a banana lover and are looking for super easy Vitamix recipes or fantastic blender recipes, look no further. I don’t know what more I can say, except blend this vegan banana smoothie up now! You will not be disappointed. And unlike some of the vegan nut smoothies, this brown rice smoothie is as cheap as chips! YUMMO!

Piggy Cooking Tips
a speedy way to ripen bananas
Placing unripe bananas in a paper bag is a great natural way to ripen bananas. The paper bag traps the ethylene gas produced by the bananas speeding up the ripening, but allows the oxygen to circulate so the bananas don’t rot. If you want the bananas to ripen even more quickly add an apple or an avocado in the bag which increases the amount of ethylene gas produced.

Mary and Becky, I just noticed I am “smoothie stalking” you. I am also making my way through the smoothies on this site and I agree. They are hard to stop drinking. I had never made rice milk either and will be making it more now I know how easy it is.
That is fantastic Tammy. So glad you gave the rice milk a try and it will be in your rotation now. It is good to mix things up.
Never made home made rice milk before either. I decided to give a try too. I used honey in my smoothie and it was lovely.
