I absolutely love the black sesame ice cream at Japanese restaurants. This vegan version is super creamy and delicious. If you've never eaten black sesame ice cream before this is a different flavor. But, be open. This ice cream is seriously tasty.

You can purchase toasted black sesame seeds from Japanese grocers, online, or from some health food stores.

Vegan Black Sesame Ice Cream

Serves 430 MINS
  1. Throw all of the ingredients into your blender, and blast on high for 30 to 60 until smooth and creamy.

  2. Chill the mixture in the fridge for a few hours until cold, then churn in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturer's instructions.

  3. Transfer the mixture to a steel loaf tin or sealed container, and freeze until hard.
