Vitamix Raw Raspberry Vinaigrette

Salad Dressings, Marinades
Method Comments

If you love raspberry salad dressings then you are going to LOVE this quick easy Raw Raspberry Vinaigrette from the Vitamix Recipe Center. If you are a Vitamix owner, do yourself a favour and spend some time on the amazing new Vitamix website and discover some delicious recipes you can whip up in your Vitamix. There are wonderful dressings and marinades, sauces, soups, dips and spreads, desserts, and more!

I use my Vitamix at least three times a day for all kinds of things. But being able to make homemade dressings by pulverizing all kinds of whole nuts seeds, oils, vegetables, fruits, herbs, and spices allows me endless opportunities for variety, and is a huge salad eater is a lifesaver in my diet.

Those of you who have been following me for a while would be familiar with my crusade against commercial salad dressings. I don't  know about you, but I like to dress up, not dress down, and that doesn’t mean you have to spend a lot of money. Homemade salad dressings are fresh, free of additives and preservatives, and just taste better. I will admit, there are some fantastic organic dressings available. But, I never get excited about anything that sits on a grocery store shelf that I can make better myself.

There is also nothing better than serving up an easy salad, having people comment on how fabulous the dressing is, and being able to say that you made it! A vinaigrette dressing is like a little black dress -- a staple that gets pulled out, works for most occasions, and never goes out of style.

Check out my How To Make Dressings Video as part of the What It Can Make Video Series on the Vitamix website to see how quick and easy this delicious dressing is. Don't miss out on making this recipe. It is a winner :)

Tip: the best way to clean your blender

After blending up something sticky, gooey or smelly, just place a few drops of soap in the carriage with some warm water and blend on high until all of the congealed food slips away from the blades and sides. Then repeat this process. Then rinse with water and presto! Clean carriage.
If you have smells or stains repeat this process with some bicarbonate of soda or lemon juice and water.

Enjoy! This recipe is a WINNER!

Hi this DOES look yum!  I’m definitely going to try it. Just wondering what type of salad you’d put it with?

This IS SOOO good. I serve it with any mixed green salad with some raw nuts and seeds, cucumbers, sprouts, celery, broccoli and allow the dressing to shine! Enjoy :)

Raspberry Vinaigrette is also excellent on spinach or mixed spring greens, with dried cranberries, feta, pecans & sliced red pear.

Yes! YUM! Thanks for sharing. I love that combo too. I have a pear and candied walnut green salad with raspberry vinaigrette in my book. Mmmmm
