Your blender is not just for food! You can make amazing natural skincare. I am incredibly particular about what I put on my skin. If I can't put it in my mouth, I don't put it on my skin! I do use some commercially produced organic products for convenience. But I very often make my own homemade scrubs, masks and creams at home using my blender. Check out the amazing almond scrub I make using the leftover almond pulp from making almond milk! Also, don't miss my all-time favorite organic moisturizer recipe that I make with my girlfriends every Christmas! That cream is unbelievable!

Here is another amazing homemade skin care recipe. Homemade Raw Avocado Face Mask. I got this fantastic recipe from one of my favorite natural skincare companies, Zaaina Skincare. I love these products because they are so pure and natural. CEO and founder of Zaaina Skincare, Purvi Desai, has become a friend of mine.

It doesn't get much easier than this avocado face mask. Just throw all the ingredients in your blender and it is ready in literally seconds. Pure, natural, live, organic skincare that you could eat! I like to run a beautiful bath with essential oils, cut a couple of slices of cucumber, make this mask, slap it on my face, and then relax in a soothing bath for 30 minutes while I let the avocado work it's magic on my face.

The powerful anti-aging combo of Vitamin C and Vitamin E is what the magic of avocados can offer your skin. The good high fat content moisturizes your skin, and prevents future drying, which can help your skin maintain that youthful glow. The natural sterolin found in the oil can reduce age spots, heal sun damage and scars, and increases the collagen in your skin.

I find this recipe makes enough for 3 people. So share it with a friend before it oxidizes! You will have a very slight tingling sensation and the mask will harden slightly while on your face. Rinse thoroughly with a damp face cloth, and moisturize!

I actually have mine on as I type this post. Gotta go! The bath is calling me. Mmmmmmm............
